IREA regularly welcomes foreign lecturers and researchers as part of its research projects on Europe-China and France-China comparative law.
In 2026 :
Since 1 January 2026, the IREA has been hosting Ms Renqing WANG, a lecturer and researcher from South West University of Political Science and Law, Chongqing (China), for a period of one year. During her stay at the IREA, Ms WANG is conducting research on ‘Human rights and their recent developments in Europe and China: a comparative study’.
For 2024/2025 :
IREA welcomes Ms Xiaoshuang LUO, teacher-researcher from China University of Political Science and Law, Beijing (China) for a one-year period (from September 1, 2024 to August 31, 2025). The subject of her research is a comparative study of the settlement of tax and sports disputes in France and Europe, in collaboration with the Centre de Droit du Sport.
In 2023 :
IREA welcomes Mr. Catalin-Silviu SARARU, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law, Bucharest University of Economic Studies. Prof. Catalin-Silviu will stay for 5 months (between February 1 and May 31, 2023). As part of this project, Professur SARARU is carrying out comparative research on administrative law between Romania and China, with a particular focus on administrative litigation law in the two countries.

For the calendar year 2022 :
IREA welcomes Ms Tingting MO, lecturer-researcher at Guanxi University of Finance and Economics (China) for a period of one year (between December 20, 2021 and December 19, 2022). During her stay at IREA, Ms. MO will be carrying out research on "a comparative Chinese-French study of the legal responsibilities of healthcare establishments and professionals".
IREA is hosting Ms Cristina Elena POPA TACHE, Scientific Researcher of the Institute of Legal Research of The Romanian Academy (Bucharest) for a period of 5 months (between May 1 and September 30, 2022).
She is carrying out research on the theme: "The EU-China Road to the Comprehensive Agreement on Investment".
