Invited by the Chinese Consulate General in Marseille, our Master 2 Chinese Business Law students, Zoé Godin, Pierre Hocquet, Lana Benagoune and Ana Robert, spent a week in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China.
During this trip, they were able to appreciate Chinese culture in a variety of ways (visiting museums, taking Tai-Chi and Chinese language classes, discovering the region's culinary specialties...) but also to get closer to the vestiges of history when they visited the Yellow Crane, Buddhist temples and the re-enactment of the Three Kingdoms battlefield at Chibi.
Learning was daily and relentless, so that everyone could practice the language. The entire teaching team was warm and attentive. We remember one teacher who wanted to help us order drinks in Mandarin, and who linked her lesson directly to practice by going to the cafeteria together to order a coffee.
Our Guide, Siyun, supervised us, gave us the explanations we needed to understand and shared her knowledge of her country over a durian pizza that unfortunately didn't go down too well with everyone.
We'll all be leaving with lasting memories of our trip and the people we met there. It was so interesting to visit a tea village in the countryside and see the extent of the Chinese landscape.
The University of Wuhan welcomed us and awarded us certificates at the end of our stay to attest to our Chinese language skills.

Many thanks to the Master 2 in Chinese Business Law, AMU, Wuhan University, the Chinese Consulate General in Marseille, Siyun and Madame Wu Xia for their organization.

The students in the 2023-2024 class of the Master's degree in Chinese Business Law have set foot in Beijing, from where they will take intensive language courses and discover the richness of Chinese culture during a trip offered to them by the Chinese Consulate in Marseille, to whom we would like to express our deepest thanks for this opportunity.
In addition to being an exceptional opportunity to broaden their horizons, this trip symbolizes the celebration of 60 years of Franco-Chinese diplomatic relations, testifying to a long history of academic and scientific cooperation between our countries.
We would also like to thank Beijing Language and Culture University for their warm welcome on site, and the support and dedication of their staff are key to this enriching experience.
